Our organization is open to international visitors as well as local residents
who are interested in broadening their horizons by getting to know people from all parts of the globe. We offer single, student, and family memberships which give generous discounts to our events.
MISSION STATEMENT
International House of Rhode Island is an unique non-profit organization
that serves as a social service agency, established in 1963, that gives aid, services, and friendship to all temporary international
residents in Rhode Island. We are a grass-roots agency and receive no federal or state funding. We rely on contributions
and dues from our members and donations of annual giving, fundraising events, income from our classes and from the rental
of our six guestrooms. International House represents peace, kindness, friendship, and service. The loving atmosphere
we create here travels all over the world when our visitors return to their countries. What they discover here they teach
to their children, family members and friends. International House forms a web of caring and understanding.
